Merry 1st Christmas

I had an awesome first Christmas yesterday! Henry helped me figure out some of my new toys and I got lots of things to chew on. Thanks for all the great presents, everyone!

It has been COLD here in Portland lately so I have to wear my bear suit when we go outside. Very cozy!

Tummy Time

I've been spending part of each day on my tummy lately. Sometimes, like today, I'm pretty happy with the view from down here, but other days I don't really like it much. I am getting very good at rolling over, too, so I warned mom and dad that I may be on the move sooner than they think!

Flower Power

I was a flower for my first ever Halloween! We went to a party and I slept on Daddy while Henry went trick-or-treating with Mom. Maybe next year I can score some candy, too!

These photos demonstrate not only my new ability to sit and hold my head up, but also my stylish pink aviator cap. After a short time, though, I'd had enough. It takes a lot of energy to hold up my noggin for so long.

Nanny Emily

Here I am with Emily. She is going to take great care of Henry and I when Mom goes back to work in a couple of weeks. Mom says we are so lucky to have her!

Grandpa Frank

Grandpa Frank and Granny Syl are visiting this week, and it was so great to finally meet them! Here I am freshly bathed and resting. Grandpa Frank was especially tired after swinging Henry around and giving him piggyback rides!

Here is me relaxing on the couch at my friend John's birthday party last weekend. I enjoyed some milk and listened to Dad play Beatles Rock Band for the first time. He's pretty good on guitar, I must say. Mom's friend Jenny took lots of pictures of me with her very good camera, so there may be more to come of me in this cute sheep outfit. Baaa....

Bouncy Seat

I spend some time each day in my snazzy woodland creature bouncy seat (thanks Auntie Sarah)! I am very amused by the owl, raccoon and hedgehog and can't help smiling when I see them moving around! It's the little things, you know?

My Crib

Mom has been getting my new room together. It should be ready pretty soon. I took a little spin in my crib, but I haven't slept there yet. Pretty comfortable, I must say, and Henry doesn't seem to mind at all that I've taken over his old room.

Clementiny

I had my 2 month checkup today and the Dr. said I am darn near perfect! I weighed in at 9 lbs. 4 oz. so Mom thought it would be funny to call me Clementiny. I'm growing just fine, thank you very much.

I'm 8 Weeks Old Today!

I was born 8 weeks ago....my how time flies! I celebrated this day by taking a 3 hour nap while Mom worked on setting up Henry's new room. Mom thinks I'm moving into my crib in a few weeks, but we'll just have to see about that! I'm pretty happy with my current situation rooming with her and Dad.

All Smiles

Here, I'm not only wearing another cute outfit, but I thought I'd flash one of my first smiles for you. Mom seems pretty excited about what she calls a developmental milestone. Whatever, I'm just feeling happy!!

Hanging With Big Bro

Here I am having some quality playtime with Big Brother, Henry. He showed me all the features of the activity mat since he has experience with these types of things. It's nice to have someone to show me the ropes!

Garden Party

We had dinner at Valerie's house last week and I spent some time reflecting on life in her beautiful garden. After a couple of days in the hospital with a fever, I am able to truly appreciate the fresh air. Fortunately, Mom got me out of there before Valerie went all Anne Geddes on me!
